On 15 July 2026 Mojang blacklisted 6b6t, the biggest cracked anarchy server still running. Nobody at Mojang told the server why. Its owner, qbasty, refused to add rules, shipped a mod that skips the block, and watched the player count go up instead of down. Across four parts and 31 questions, qbasty answered in writing over Discord between 31 August and 7 September 2026. This page holds the full, unedited answers, then separates what can be checked from what rests on the owner's word, and most of the numbers are in the second group.
Server at a glance
The core idea
A blacklist doesn't come with an error message. Players on vanilla Minecraft just see the server as offline. According to qbasty, 6b6t found out from its own players at around 2–3 AM CEST on 15 July, got no email, no warning, and no list of things to change, and never has since. What it did get was a second wave of blocked domains within twelve hours of posting that it would not comply. qbasty reads that as proof somebody at Mojang was watching.
The response was already built. AnarchyMod, announced in February after PurityVanilla was blocked, skips the client's blacklist check for 6b6t's addresses. It's open source, which qbasty says was the whole point: players had to trust that the mod did only that. By qbasty's account the server was back to 200 players inside a day and hit its all-time peak a month later.
"Either players chose to support us and they believed in real anarchy, or it was the end of 6b6t."
The server isn't fully rule-free, and qbasty says so plainly. Doxxing and child-related content get muted, and the reason given is real-world harm, not Minecraft. Misinformation and extreme political talk stay up. Where the line sits is, in qbasty's words, "primarily my decision, as I own the server."

qbasty owns and runs 6b6t. They answered 31 questions in four parts, in writing, on Discord: Part 1 on 31 August 2026, Part 2 on 3 September, Part 3 on 6 September and Part 4 on 7 September. The screenshots below are the unedited answers.
Found by players around 2–3 AM CEST on 15 July; announced by 6b6t at 19:00 CEST the same day on Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram and X. No contact from Mojang before or after. A second wave of domains was blocked within 12 hours of the announcement. qbasty lists the possible causes without knowing which one it was: chat insults, racism, the political builds around spawn, or the fact the server is cracked.
Vanilla clients ask Mojang whether a server is blocked before connecting. AnarchyMod skips that check for 6b6t's IPs, and adds a free /sethome. The code is public. qbasty names ten hack clients that added the same bypass, and says only Wurst and Liquid Bounce had it before 6b6t's blacklist.
Doxxing and child-related content are muted. Names and messages are hidden in those cases because a cracked server lets anyone set their name to, for example, an address. Moderator names were removed from the public anti-spam page after moderators were harassed. Misinformation and extreme political takes are not muted.
€3–5k a month, and for most of the server's history it relied on qbasty's and Xymb's own money. The August dupe event was planned at 72 hours. Each rank purchase extended it and was announced publicly, and it ran 9 days. qbasty says it wasn't pay-to-win because the extension helped everyone. No more dupes are planned soon because they hurt the economy.
Asked whether 6b6t is marketing off 2b2t's decline, the answer was "Yes, I am. It's called improvement." qbasty argues 2b2t stopped being anarchy with its 2025 rule changes, and that the old map is the only thing keeping it together.

Every number in the interview came from the owner of the server it describes. That doesn't make it false. It does make it self-interested. Here is each checkable claim and where it stands.
